English: Division I QB Collin Hill joins the Helvetic Guards
All of the starting quarterbacks introduced so far have had experience in Europe. Now, for the first time this offseason, a new face joins the league and expectations should be high. The Helvetic Guards led by Head Coach Norm Chow have found their quarterback and introduced none other than Collin M. Hill. Hill is a Colorado State University graduate who has overcome three ACL injuries in his college career. A graduate transfer, he spent his fifth year of college at the University of South Carolina, where he was a starter for the Gamecocks. In 2021, he was signed as an Undrafted Free Agent by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hill, who broke school records for touchdown passes, completion percentage and passing yards in a season and career at his high school, recorded 127 completions on 215 attempts for 1411 yards and 6 touchdowns with 6 interceptions and 4 rushing touchdowns in 8 college games for the Gamecocks.
The 25-year-old Dayton, Ohio native stands out for its accuracy, especially with short timing routes to backs and receivers. Get ready to see some slants and routes over the middle. With his experience, he should be able to make every throw in the ELF and his weaknesses should matter less here. Of the quarterbacks in the ELF so far, Hill is the one with the most Division I playing time and the most chance to make the NFL.

Hill ist ein Absolvent der Colorado State University, der in seiner College-Karriere bereits drei ACL-Verletzungen überwunden hat. Als Graduate Transfer verbrachte er sein fünftes College-Jahr an der University of South Carolina, wo er als Starter der Gamecocks fungierte. 2021 war er als Undrafted Free Agent von den Cincinnati Bengals verpflichtet worden.

2020 schloss sich der 25-jährige als Graduate Transfer der University of South Carolina an, wo er im Master Bildungstechnologie studierte. Aufgrund seiner im Vorjahr erlittenen Kreuzbandverletzung verpasste er die Trainingscamps im Frühling, dennoch setzte er sich teamintern durch und wurde vor Saisonbeginn zum Starter ernannt.
Hill, der an seiner High School in Ohio die Schulrekorde für Touchdown-Pässe, Komplettierungsquote und Passing Yards in einer Saison und Karriere brach, verzeichnete 127 Completions bei 215 Attempts für 1411 Yards und 6 Touchdowns bei 6 Interceptions sowie 4 Rushing Touchdowns in 8 College-Spielen für die Gamecocks.
