English: Week 3 match-up Kings against Sea Devils in Halle
There are only three weeks left until the Leipzig Kings meet the Hamburg Sea Devils in the third week of the ELF season. Now the venue is also known: The Leuna-Chemie Stadium in Halle an der Saale. The stadium offers almost optimal conditions for a game in the European League of Football. The capacity of 15,057 seats is more than sufficient, the fans sit close to the pitch and the dressing rooms are also more appealing than at last year’s home ground. The stadium, which was called Erdgas Sportpark until 2021, was only opened in 2011 and is therefore ultra-modern. To make it palatable for fans, there will be an opportunity for fans and the team to get to know each other better after Saturday night’s game in Halle.
On May 17, Leipzig Kings fans had to digest a severe shock. In an open letter, Co-Owner and General Manager Moritz Heisler addressed the fan community of the Leipzig Kings. Mainly due to noise regulations in the residential area of Leutzsch, the Leipzig Kings were not allowed to play their home games in the Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark this season. As a result, the Kings had to reschedule and look for new home venues. For the first home game, the Paul-Greifzu-Stadium in Dessau-Roßlau has already been presented. The remaining four games will be played at Bruno-Plache-Stadion in Leipzig-Probstheida.
Es sind nur noch wenige Wochen bis zum Aufeinandertreffen der Leipzig Kings gegen die Hamburg Sea Devils in der dritten Spielwoche der ELF-Saison. Nun ist auch der Austragungsort bekannt: Das Leuna-Chemie-Stadion in Halle an der Saale. Das Stadion bietet nahezu optimale Bedingungen für ein Spiel in der European League of Football. Die Kapazität ist mit 15.057 Plätze mehr als ausreichend, die Fans sitzen nah am Spielfeld und die Umkleidekabinen sind auch ansprechender als an der letztjährigen Heimstätte. Erst 2011 wurde das Stadion, das bis 2021 Erdgas Sportpark hieß, eröffnet und ist daher topmodern. Um es den Fans schmackhaft zu machen, wird es nach dem Samstagabendspiel in Halle die Möglichkeit geben, das sich die Fans und das Team näher kennenlernen.

In einem offenen Brief hatte sich Co-Owner und General Manager Moritz Heisler an die Fangemeinschaft der Leipzig Kings gewendet. Hauptsächlich aufgrund der im Leutzscher Wohngebiet geltenden Vorschriften zu Lärm-Emissionen sei es den Leipzig Kings verwehrt worden, in dieser Saison ihre Heimspiele im Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark auszutragen. Daher mussten die Kings umplanen und nach neuen Heimstätten suchen. Für das erste Heimspiel wurde bereits das Paul-Greifzu-Stadion in Dessau-Roßlau präsentiert. Die verbleibenden vier Spiele wird man dann im Bruno-Plache-Stadion in Leipzig-Probstheida austragen.
